In the last part of our conversation about Günther Anders' testimony from 1941, we take a look at the present, where the discussions about truth, authenticity, reality and fake news are once again very topical.

With the support of the Goethe Institute, the German and Austrian embassies and other sponsors, a group of academics, artists and technicians used the Corona period to produce a podcast from Günther Anders' diary using new technologies. I spoke with Chris Müller from Macquarie University, Ben Nickl from Sydney University and actor Edgar Eckerd - who narrated Günther Anders' exile diary - about their audio project.

This part is mainly about how the many Jewish academics, scientists and artists who once operated at the very top of society now deal with having to do the menial jobs in exile - all with the concern for those left behind who were not lucky enough to escape the Nazis.
