Recycle like champions

Since one week, plastic beverage containers, beer bottles and aluminum cans can be returned for 10ct each in Queensland via the "Container For Change" program.

The recycling system works almost exactly as we know it from Germany, but it was already introduced there 15 years ago.

As a recent study has shown, we Germans are "world champions in recycling" - whether this also applies to the German community in Brisbane and how the return system works exactly, tells our Queensland correspondent Katharina Loesche.
