Opera Australia is staging a new production of Wagner's Ring des Nibelungen at the Queensland Performing Arts Center in Brisbane from December 1st to 21st. Over eighty musicians will be heard in the orchestra, as well as over a hundred voices. “Powerful and soulful stage presence” – “Magnificent, lush voice” – “Exciting high notes” – “An enormously talented, young dramatic soprano”. These are just a few reviews of the rich biography of Anna-Louise Cole. She was born in Melbourne. Her musical talent earned her many prizes and took her to the Vienna State Opera, among other places. Anna-Louise Cole will be heard as Brünnhilde in Richard Wagner's Ring des Nibelungen.
