Last year, 1.1 million refugees went to Germany, in search of a safe haven and a better life. Are people still applauding them as they arrive at the train stations? Or is the mood changing, given the many problems facing the local people and the refugees alike? Guests in our SBS studio are: Professor Klaus Neumann from Swinburne University, Birgit Götz, director of the Martin Luther Homes in Melbourne, SBS producer Maria Schaller and Rabea Stückemann who is visiting Australia from Cologne.
