German singer, DJ and producer Stefan Hantel, or Shantel as he's known on stage, has been crossing genres and breaking down musical and cultural barriers for 30 years. Now he's coming to Australia for two performances at WOMAD- the World Music Festival in Adelaide. We asked Shantel to tell us more about his unique style.

Shantel & Bucovina Club Orkestar play Saturday, 9 March, 9.30 pm and Sunday, 10 March, 8.45 pm.

Shantel joins fellow German band LaBrassBanda from Bavaria, at the four-day festival in Adelaide.
