Solar Challenge: 3,000 kilometres across Australia

3,000 kilometres across Australia - around 50 vehicles from all over the world are about to cover this distance in October, from Darwin to Adelaide. These innovative vehicles are powered only by solar cells. The World Solar Challenge is known as the toughest race for solar vehicles in the world. SBS German's Alisa Wienand spoke to a German professor from Adelaide who developed one of the cars with his team.
