The impact of climate change is increasingly evident in Australian cities, where summers bring heatwaves and extreme temperatures. To address this challenge, scientists are actively working on solutions to mitigate rising temperatures by implementing advanced technologies aimed at cooling urban areas during heatwaves and low rainfall periods. SBS spoke to Sebastian Pfautsch, who works at the University of Western Sydney and is one of the leaders working on future solutions of how we can all survive in Australian cities in the future.
