Since German Chancellor Angela Merkel visited Australia in late 2014, relations between Canberra and Berlin have improved considerably and now the conservative parties of the two countries are forging closer relations, too.
Dr. Klaus Schüler, is the Federal Director of Germanys governing Christian Democrats (CDU), as well as Angela Merkels Campaign Director. He is in Australia looking for partners for the conservative Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation.
