Tobacco use in Australia: from deterrence to prohibition?

In the past few weeks, there have been reports of new laws around tobacco consumption all over the world. Yesterday, for example, Canada announced that a health warning will be printed on every single cigarette.




The Australian government has also been cracking down on tobacco use for years - the tobacco tax in Australia is known to be one of the highest in the world. SBS reporter Daniel Georgakos has researched data around the topic.
