In conversation: Rob Rayner - The Beez live in Germany until recently in Berlin, but also tour their second home Australia every year. In 1997, the Kreuzberg-born Deta C. Rayner (vocals and accordion) founded the band. A short time later Rob Rayner (vocals and guitar) from Sydney joined and speaks with us here in this interview. The third member of the band is Peter D'Elia (vocals and banjo) from San Francisco. As appropriate for such an international musical group, the three play in Canberra on the weekend at the big multicultural festival, which takes place in the city center from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening - all free and outdoors - with music on 6 stages, food, a parade and much more - from Friday to Sunday.
