Rivers in New South Wales are expected to remain swollen into the weekend after this week's torrential rain that has seen almost 24,000 people evacuated from their homes. The State Emergency Service has told 60,000 people to be ready to evacuate with major flood warnings, says SES volunteer Joerg Lindner.
