"Das Zentrum" in Canberra, formally known as the Australian-German Institute Inc., is a non-profit community organisation. It was founded in 1997 to fill the gap left by the Goethe Institutes withdrawal from Canberra. It aims to forge the link between Australia and the German-speaking regions of Europe. The organisation regularly runs events. We spoke to president Paul Gamp.
