„You dont have to be of the same opinion, but you have to respect the opinion of others. Thats what Pastor Roland Maurer also tries to teach at the GISS, where he teaches religion. As the leader of the German speaking Catholic community in Sydney, he celebrates the church services at St. Christopherus in Croydon and at St. Raphaels in Blacktown and attends to a number of other pastoral duties.
The St. Hedwig Hostel and two choirs are also part of the community.
