Originally, the two German backpackers Lenya Sue and René Müller "only" wanted to travel through Australia for nine months when they arrived in Brisbane at the beginning of 2020. But sometimes things turn out quite differently. Due to the pandemic and a developing love for Australia, the couple is still Down Under today.

Now they are backpacking experts. They live mostly in a van they have built themselves, travel all over the country, and there is hardly a job in which they haven't worked. Currently they are working in a mine in the outback. We talked to them about their life-changing journey and their current job.
