From Melbourne to Cologne: Australian tenor lives his dream in Germany

Working in Europe is the dream of many young Australians. That was also the case for tenor John Heutzenroeder from Melbourne. Unfortunately, he was told that his voice was supposedly not 'big enough' for Germany. However, John did not let that discourage him, and now he sings and lives in Cologne. In a conversation with SBS reporter Wolfgang Müller, he shares how he realised his dream and what distinguishes the audience in Germany from the opera audience in Australia.
