Mario Dobernig, conductor from Melbourne with Austrian roots, formed a band especially for Oktoberfest Brisbane to bring Bavarian atmosphere down under.

In der ersten Reihe: Mitte sind Kim und Boris Zoulek, die Festival-Direktoren, mit ihren beiden kleinen Kindern. Rechts neben Boris steht Mario Dobernig, Musikalischer Leiter der “Wolpertinger” - mit dem Mikro in der Hand. Links neben Kim steht “Johanna”, sie singt und spielt Akkordeon und Keyboards. Zweite Reihe: links “Christoph”(der Opernsaenger), der grosse in der Mitte ist “Udo” (Gitarre), der kleinere Blonde ist “Anton” (Trompete), ganz rechts “Traudl”, die Bassistin.
