When they started playing in the small village Chiliomodi at Corinth ,Greece they could not imagine the immense resonance and success of their music all over the world. 1000mods is a group of childhood friends who made their fun dream come true. Their rhythm is special. With hard rock influences from several decades, of '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s.
Since 2006, the four member band 1000mods, with its current composition, began to rise steadily towards the international music scene. Soon, the appearances in Corin th were followed by Athens. Their first albums and tours in Europe and the Unites States.
Among their releases are: "Liquid Sleep" (2009), "Super Van Vacation" (2011), "Valley of Sand" (2012), "Vultures" (2014) and "Repeated exposure to ..." released in 2016. It was regarded by many as a masterpiece of the hard rock scene.

Their unique style and performances made 1000mods a favorite group of hard rock and metal fans, not just in Greece. With English lyrics they are getting more and more fans around the world. After their tours to Europe and U.S, in April 2019 the 1000mods also conquer Australia.

From 3 to 13 April (2019) 1000mods give 10 concerts in 10 days and 9 different Australian cities. Demand in Melbourne was so great that they had to arrange a second date.
The guitarist of the 1000mods Giorgos T. spoke at the SBS Radio - Greek program for their tour in Australia, but also their first music steps.
They never forget where they started. Chiliomodi of Korinthia. Their name "1000mods" is a clear reference to their roots. Wherever they go, they advertise their place of origin. And they prove that unique music has no borders.
