Very bad weather and in particular an east coast low system has been bringing havoc down the eastern states of Australia this first weekend of June; that is New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania. At least 3 people have drowned, others are missing, houses, businesses and roads have been affected being partially or fully destroyed. The clean up after the severity of the weather conditions with the unabated rain, the very high winds and huge sea swells, will be running into the millions of dollars. Dimitrios Kametopoulos gives a comprehensive report on the situation with the most updated information speaking to Stergos Kastelloriou.
