4th death in NSW from the Delta COVID - 19 variant

Another death from Covid-19 has been recorded in NSW, which mourns a total of four people dead in the recent wave of pandemic caused by the Delta variant in Sydney. The state has again recorded more than 100 new cases in the last 24 hours, while 16 new cases have been identified in Victoria.

Sydney will remain in lockdown for another week, amid concerns about the spread of Covid-19 in the southwest of the city. Source: AAP
