$500,000 Battle of Crete Memorial to be erected in Western Australia

The total cost of erecting the Battle of Crete Memorial in Western Australia has been estimated at $500,000.

The President of the Greek chapter of the RSL, Mr. Vasilis Evagelinos, told the SBS Greek Radio Program that the Monument Committee has already received $150,000 from the State Government and is expecting a similar amount from the Federal Government.
