6th “Let’s Go Greek Festival Parramatta”

SBS Radio and the Greek program covered live for another year the festival of the Greek Orthodox Parish and Community of Parramatta.


The Let's Go Greek Festival-Parramatta, which was in its 6th year,  was attended by thousands of people.

It was organised by the local Greek Orthodox Parish and Community of St John, Parramatta and District.

The festivities ran till around 6 p.m. and the official opening was at approximately 1.30 p.m., by the Greek-Orthodox Archbishop Mr. Makarios. The Federal Minister for Immigration,  David Coleman, NSW Minister for Multicultural Affairs Mr John Sidoti attended and confirmed the state government’s contribution to the festival in the amount of $200.000 over the next four years.
