The immigrant history of his parents and the events that marked reflects in his book “The Old Greeks”, Professor of Film Studies of the University of New South Wales, George Kouvaros.

Through a series of film and photographic material, Professor Kouvaros  tries to illuminate aspects of immigration for his family and other people who have experienced the difficulties of leaving the homeland and making a new beginning in Australia.

“It was an attempt to try to understand the legacy of this generation of migrants.
