A model of Trireme "Olympias" for the Maritime Museum

The Consul General of Greece in Sydney Dr Stavros Kyrimis is organising an event for Greeces Independence Day, 25th March 1821.The hour long celebratory evening will be held at the Australian National Maritime Museum on 24 March, 2017. Doors will open from 5.00pm. Official proceedings will commence at 5.30pm sharp The Master of Ceremonies will be Mr Peter Dexter AMChairman of the Australian National Maritime Museum.This March the Australian National Maritime Museum will be displaying the 4-metre scale model of the Trireme Olympias in its oyer area.
