Demosthenes Public Speaking Student Competition will be held on Sunday 22nd of October 2017 at Melbournes Greek Centre.The Demosthenes Greek Public Speaking competition provides opportunities for students to build their self confidence and extend their skills in researching, speech writing and public speaking. It is organised by the The Modern Greek Teachers Association of Victoria (MGTAV) and according to its President Maria Dikeou the Demosthenes Competition supports learning and assessment in curriculum for Greek in a range of learning domains.
