A tribute to the iconic Marika Ninou by Melbourne musicians

Local Melbourne musicians, Stavrina Dimitriou, Dean Georgalas, Achilles Yiangoulli, Con Kalamaras and Jim Haritonas will present a live tribute to the iconic Marika Ninou.


During her short lived career, she died 39 years old, , Marika became one of the leading Greek vocalists of the early 1950s and provided her distinctive voice to compositions by Vasilis Tsitsanis, Manolis Hiotis, Yannis Papaioanou, Giorgos Mitsakis, and Apostolas Kaldaras.

Odysseas Kripotos spoke to Stavrina Dimitriou and Achilles Yiangoulli about the live tribute to the iconic Ninou.
