Aged Care quality and Saftety Commissioner admits to communication gap in St Basil's case

While the federal government is receiving criticism on its handling of the pandemic, the head of Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission admits that the authority did not pass on the information about the outbreak at St BASIL'S.


The chair of the federal committe reviewing the handloing of the pandemic, labor senator Katy Gallagher said to the ABC that the head of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, Janet Anderson send a letter to the committee, revealing that the Commission knew the outbreak in St Basil's but did not pass the information to other authorities. The first team arrived at St Basil's four days after the Commision was notified.
