Mr Anastasiades will bring up the matter to other European leaders tonight, in the European Council’s informal meeting in Romania. The government of Cyprus has expressed its satisfaction with the response of the international community to Turkey’s activities.

Mr. Anastasiades noted that Turkey’s behaviour is obstructing the search for a solution that will reunite both halves of Cyprus.
