Archbishop Makarios: we want recognition of the Pontian genocide and sincere reconciliation

The Greek-Orthodox Archbishop of Australia Mr Makarios says that the international community must recognise the Pontian genocide by the then Ottoman authorities.

At the same he appeals for sincere reconciliation.

Mr Makarios makes his comments at a special message to mark today’s 101^st anniversary of the Pontian Genocide. In this message he congratulates the Pontian Federation of Australia.
