World number one, Ashleigh Barty has reached fore the first time in her career the semi-finals of the Australian Open, after defeating earlier today, Petra Kvitova from the Czech Republic.
The Australian prevailed 2-0 sets (7-6, 6-2). She will face next Sofia Kenin (USA) who also defeated 2-0 sets Ons Jabeur from Tunesia.
In the men’s draw Roger Federer had another scare against the American, Tennys Sandgren., but at the end thw Swiss managed to win 3-2 sets and make it to the semifinals.
Tonight Novak Djocovic will clash with Canada’s Milos Raonic.
