The number of victims of the civil war raging in Sudan continues to rise. At the same time, the Greek armed forces have prepared a plan for the safe exit of Greeks trapped in the country.

Despite calls for a ceasefire, the civil conflict between the army and the paramilitaries continues unabated in Sudan.

At least 270 people have been killed and thousands injured, with the toll expected to be much higher as access to the war zones is difficult to impossible for patients and doctors.

The Greek armed forces are expected to implement, conditions permitting, the "Kosmos" plan for the safe exit of Greeks trapped - due to the civil war - in Sudan.
