Atticism and its consequences

Atticism

Source: Wikipedia

Atticism was a rhetorical movement that began in the first quarter of the 1st century BC, and was the contrast with various contemporary forms of Koine Greek (both literary and vulgar), which continued to evolve in directions guided by the common usages of Hellenistic Greek.

More about Atticism and its consequences we hear from the Head of the Modern Greek Studies at Macquarie University, Dr Elizabeth Kefallinos who talks to Themi Kallos.
