The nine Greek Australians receiving the OAM award are: Peter George Doukas, from NSW, George Ηalvatzis from Victoria, major (retired) Terry Kanellos from Victoria, Colleen Mandicos from Wollongong, Dr Stephen George Papas from QLD, Suzanne Sofarnos from Victoria (she is married to a Greek), Nenia Helen Tavrou from Victoria, Father Christos Triandafyllou from NSW, and Eleftheria VictoriaZografos from Queensland.
From the armed forces, Lieutenant Peter Asimakis (from Queesnland) has been honoured and from the Emergency Services, Tina Filopoulos.
