Australia secures deal to manufacture vaccine, if it works and is safe

The Australian government has secured an international deal to locally produce a potential coronavirus vaccine, should trials succeed.


Under the deal, every Australian would be vaccinated for free, but there is no consensus on when that may happen. 

For months, the world has been waiting for a weapon to fight the most devastating virus since the Spanish flu.
