During the fires at Mati, Greece, doctor John Greenwood flew to Greece to provide his expertise. Now, he has saved the life of another fire victim, in Adelaide.

Dr Greenwood took skin from the man's skull, which he used to cultivate artificial skin to save the man's life. It is the first time in history that this procedure, known as Composite Cultured Skin treatment, was performed.
