Australian scientist names tiny hexapod after Greta

Australian scientist Dr Penelope Greenslade named a tiny creature discovered in Antarctica after Swedish activist Greta Thunberg.


The newly discovered creature, isa wingless, six legged insect-looking hexapod, no more than 2 millimetres in lenght. It belongs to the collabola family and is named Friesea gretae after Greta Thungerg.
