The First Australian Week took place on the island of Kythera with significant events and distinguished visitors. Amongst them the Australian Ambassador to Greece, John Griffin, in his last official engagement in Greece. Hundreds of Kytherians who have migrated to Australia years ago visit the island of Kythera every year. Maria-Stella Papageorgiou spoke to Mayor of Kythera and Antikythera, Efstratios Charhalakis about his initiative to organize the Australian Week in Kythera.
