Australian Olympians arriving in Rio may be forced to stay in hotels due to major plumbing and electrical hazards in the athletes' village. One day before the country's first athletes are expected to touch down in Brazil, the village is plagued by problems including leaking pipes, blocked toilets and showers, and flooding.The local organising committee has deployed hundreds of workers to fix the issues, but the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) is unsure when it will be fit to stay in.
