Axion Hellas is newly formed not for profit organization in Greece which offers, mostly, medical services to remote communities. THI Australia gave a $50,000 grant to Axion Hellas which funded its missions to the remote Aegean island of Psara and Volissos region in eastern Chios. Vasilis Pateras, co-founder and president of Axion Hellas spoke to SBS Greek about the gaps in the system that led to the formation of Axion Hellas.
