Australians are beginning to cast their ballots for the July 2 federal election, with early voting underway.The Australian Electoral Commission is expecting a record number of people to vote early in this election. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Opposition leader Bill Shorten continued their pre-election campaign in Western Australia. There, Turnbull criticised Shorten's comments about journalists gaining access to immigration detention centers on Nauru and Manus Island, if Labor wins the election.
