Melbourne managed to get the lead just before the half-time with a header from Ola Toivonen. However, the hosts played exceptionally in the second half with continuous pressure and attack. They equalised on the 61st minute with Adam Le Fondre and Barbarouses found the net on the 68th minute.
In yesterday’s other A League game, Brisbane Roar beat Melbourne City 4-3.
