Bishop Dorilaiou Nikandros, expressed his satisfaction about the selection of Makarios of Christopolis as the new Archbishop of Australia, from Constantinopole where he traveled for that occassion. The Holy Synod unanimously voted for Bishop Makarios among a number of other candidates.
