Russia's mercenary group has called off its march towards Moscow after its attempted mutiny. With the intervention of the Belurusian president, Alexander Lukashenko, the group will now be moving to Belarus and all mutiny charges against them will be dropped.

Mutinous Russian mercenaries who surged most of the way to Moscow have agreed to turn back to avoid more bloodshed.

The head of the Wagner mercenary group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has called off his troops' advance on Moscow.

He's ordered his fighters to turn around and return to their bases in order to avoid bloodshed.
