BOM declares La Niña for this summer

The wet weather many Australian states have been experiencing the last few weeks is due to La Nina. The BOM has declared La Nina has been formed over the Pacific and Australia is expecting a wet and cool summer with a possibility of heatwaves that last longer than usual.
