The Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs said that Turkey's recent behaviour is ''an attempt to cause an impression''. Mr Dendias also commented on the recent photograph of Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, in front of a map showing half of the Aegean sea as belonging to Turkey, saying that Greece knows how to protect its national interests.
Speaking to Alpha Radio, Mr Dendias said that ''Borders are not defined based on a map that just about anyone can draw'' and expressed his belief that Turkey's behaviour is an effort ''to cause an impression''.
''I would like to say that transgressions establish Turkey's image as a transgressor.'' said Mr Dendias.
''We may not act as the Balkan's troublemaker but that does not mean we don't know how to protect our national interests'' he noted.
