No Liberal Party candidates will contest the state seat of Canterbury at the upcoming by-election, with the party citing a lack of resources as the main reason. Three nominees have thrown their hat in the ring for the election on November 12. The Christian Democratic Partys Branka Kouroushis, Greens candidate Kristian Bodell and Labors Sophie Cotsis will all be on the ballot paper.
