The bureaucracy attempts to regenerate Antikythera.


Antikythera or Tsirigo, as the locals call it, is a barren island, located between Kythira and Crete.

Today, only 20 people live on the island, most of them are elderly.

In an effort to revamp the island, metropolitan of Kythera and Antikythera, Serafeim, with the assistance of the greek government, trying to build new homes to accommodate four families.

However, this initiative has come across some “red tape”, as stated in the Greek Program, the President of the Antikythera, Andreas Harhalakis.
