The Bureau of Meteorology for the Australian Capital Territory warns that Canberra should brace for possibility of snow, as the cold weather that has been hammering the nearby areas will move towards the capital.
Some ares like Brindabella have already experienced snowfall and the Bureau expects the same will happen to Canberra's southern and Western areas and Queenbeyan.
In certain areas, the winds are expected to reach speed of 90 kilometers per hour, with the authorities warning for potential damages.
