Catholic Cardinal George Pell has been found guilty of historic child sexual abuse after a trial in Melbourne.
Cardinal Pell was once the third most powerful man in the Vatican and Australia’s most senior Catholic.
The unanimous verdict was delivered by a jury on the 11th of December in Melbourne’s County Court, but only just released due to the lifting of a suppression order.
