"Christina's case" is the latest bilingual book by Sydney -based writer and poet Yiota Krili. It is a theater play, a genre employed by the author in 1979, while the Greek community of Sydney was struggling to come to terms with the aftermath of the social security scandal known as 'Kolpo". Krili had met and interviewed some of those who were accused of defrauding the Commonwealth. Later, many accusations were dropped while the overwhelming majority of those prosecuted was acquitted. Krili's interviews were published at the time but the play remained in one of the author's draws until last year. "Life got in the way' Krili tells Dina Gerolymou and stresses that the play is based entirely on the interviews she contacted in 1979. (interview in Greek)
