Peace, of sorts, has broken out in the New South Wales Liberal Party. A meeting of the State executive has met and endorsed Concetta Fierravanti-Wells in the winnable 4th spot on the Liberal National Party combined Senate ticket for the upcoming election. The Prime Minister earlier intervened to get Senator Fierravanti-Wells moved into the 4th spot ahead of the little known Hollie Hughes after a factional brawl. It would have been a major embarrassment for Mr Turnbull if he wasn't able to guarantee Minister for International Development Senator Fierravanti-Wells a winnable seat on the ticket.
